Tubular socket bayonet for use on certain variants of the FN-FAL assault rifle.
This is a later version of the M1963 FN-FAL bayonet, using simplified manufacturing techniques.
Bayonet has black finish. Scabbard has integral web frog with U.S.-style wire belt hanger, which noted bayonet author/researcher Carl Ziegler indicates is Rhodesian. These would likely have been used by Rhodesian Army forces during their civil war.
